    Reviewed Cranberry Feta Pinwheels

"These were delicious! The feta flavor is pretty strong, so they won't be favorites with everyone, but I liked the flavor combination. When I make these again, I'll add a little plain greek yogurt or sour cream to make it a bit easier to spread."

    Shared Recipe Jarlsberg Spread

"This is from Everyday Food and generally gets inhaled wherever I bring it. It's pretty fast to throw together as written, but it even works well with bagged, pre-shredded cheese of just about any variety.

This is delicious made ahead and refrigerating until you're ready for it."

Reviewed Caramelized Onion and Canadian Bacon Strata

"This was easier to make than I expected and completely delicious (we ate WAY too much of it). I had a little trouble fitting it into an 11x7 pan; next time I'll go with a 12x8 or 9x13."

Reviewed Creamy Basil & Red Pepper Pasta

"We made this with 8 ounces of spaghetti because that's what we had on hand, and it was delicious and covered the long noodles just fine. Fast, easy, and tasty!"

    Reviewed Zucchini-Cheddar Waffles

"These waffles were delicious. I served them at a "waffle party" with sides of sour cream and salsa, and everyone raved about them. The only downside is that they stuck to my waffle iron very soundly, even after spraying with copious amounts of oil. I added some more flour (it was a very wet batter) and that seemed to help somewhat."

    About Me

I'm a wife, mom, and entrepreneur. I've been a librarian and web developer, and as you can probably guess, I love to read and use the internet.

I've been married to my wonderful husband, Daniel, for eleven years, and have an adorable almost-two-year-old. Spending time with them is my favorite thing to do. I enjoy "just hanging out" and cooking lots of goodies for unconventional holidays (Pi Day, 10/10/10, that kind of thing).

Oh, and I'm training to run a marathon in January 2011. :)

    Favorite Foods

Around my house, it's all about the comfort foods and the simple meals. We do pasta frequently with a variety of different sauces. I'm sort of the high-carb queen (and not in a Dr. Ornish kind of way). My cinnamon rolls are a huge hit when I make them but I have to keep that within moderation!
