    About Me

    FYI...I used to be Earnhardt#3 on Zaar, so I'm not a newbie!!
    I live in a town of about 1500 and work at an insurance office here in town. I am married with a 17 year old daughter, a 36 year old stepson and, as of Dec 11, 04, a daughter in law. They now have a three year old daughter, Natalie and a 1 year old daughter, Kynlee. Natalie calls me "Grandma Angus" because we have her Daddy's Black Lab named "Angus"!  

    I like to read, cross-stitch and I love to cook when the weather turns cool. I love music, mainly country and classic rock. I love to sing, too, but nobody else would enjoy it, so I keep that to myself!! I like to ride my bike and walk when the weather is warm. I love the outdoors and would rather work in the yard anytime than in the house. My daughter plays softball, so we go to pitching camps and work alot on her hitting during the winter.  She pitches and plays 1st base.

    I am very concerned about animal welfare, especially Greyhound rescue. The retired racers go through so much and are so appreciative when they finally get to go home with someone!


    If I had the time & the cash, I would run away to a tropical island. There's nothing better than swaying palm trees, balmy breezes and turquoise water. I love to wake up in the morning and hear the waves crashing. A cold margarita isn't a bad addition, either!

    I LOVE dogs and have really grown to love Greyhounds!! What personality!! We had to put down our first Greyhound, Missileman, on June 21, 2012. We adopted our boy, Perfect Sound aka Victor on August 2. He's a real handful!! We also have a 9 year old yellow cat, Drew. A real troublemaker! We also have a 8 year old Black Lab named Angus. We have also been adopted by a male Tuxedo cat named Squeaker. He doesn't have a great meow, only a squeak, hence the name Smile He's a great cat!

    There are two things I want to do before I die (well, more than 2, I'm sure, but...) I want to visit Australia and I want to swim with dolphins.

    My pet peeves are two faced, backstabbing people. And, people who only want to be a friend when you can do something for them. Those people may as well stay away from me; life's too short to deal with 'em!! 


    I've been in a few swaps over the last year and had a great time!! I appreciate everybody who organizes them; it's alot of work!!

    Favorite Foods

    I like to make casseroles, soups, desserts, well, I just like to cook/bake! I love to try new recipes!! That's why I love Zaar!! So many things I've got to try!!

    I ADORE dark chocolate! It's my choice, hands down, when I need a chocolate fix!! Also, when we eat out, I love pizza! I also love to go to Lonestar(love their lettuce wedges), Red Lobster and there is a local Mexican restaurant that a couple of pals and I go to on girls' nights. We love the atmosphere and the margaritas!
