    About Me

    I'm married.  We have five grown children.  My husband and I like to travel.  We have been to the Czech Republic five times now,  Our oldest son's wife is Czech. 

    My hobbies are art (oil painting scenery and still life, and drawing portraits in graphite and with colored pencils), cooking, reading,  traveling, and taking digital photos.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite desserts are New York Cheesecake or Southern Pecan Pie. It's hard for me to choose a favorite dish, because I enjoy a variety of cuisines. I'm always eager to try something new! One of our girls has dubbed me "The Condiment Queen," because I have purchased (and I use) a number of exotic spices and seasonings from our local Oriental Super Market.
