I am a happily married stay at home mother of three. I started out as a young girl who loved to bake but never learned to cook my own food. I was afraid of knives and hot pans. My husband is an amazing cook, and I learned to cook from him. When we first started our family, we both were concerned about how we will feed our young family nutritiously. I've come a long way but still have more to learn, which is where this website comes in.
At first, I was only interested in cooking my favorite foods. Now, with a full house, I'm looking for recipes that make up authentic international cuisine or contain in season local ingredients. In my home, we cater home cooked meals, clean eating style, to lactose intolerant digestion.
I've been working on baking fresh bread with artisan techniques for the past two years. It's still a work in progress.
In truth, butter is my foodie soulmate. And croissants are my love children.
