I've been a busy career woman for the last 15 years, but now I'm working part-time and spending the rest of the time at home with two preschoolers. I was a dedicated fast food junkie, but now I'm trying to prepare more nutritious meals at home. I enjoy cooking when I have lots of time to do it, but I'm finding meal planning and getting supper on the table every day is tough going. Thank goodness for Recipezaar!
Even though I'm over 30, my favourite foods are still those cooked by my mom. She cooks awesome roast beefs, and even makes a plain old chicken sandwich taste delectable. I think extra mayonnaise and salt have something to do with it.
As for me, I love to make appetizers, soups, and some entrees. I hate making dessert, so if anyone is invited to my house and foolishly asks, "Can I bring something?", they're automatically making dessert.
