I am an amateur cook and baker, but I love experimenting with new recipes and adapting them to my tastes. I am half Iranian and am trying to improve my culture cooking skills, which is proving to be more difficult than I had thought! When I'm not stressing over cooking perfect Basmati rice, I enjoy cooking healthy and delicious meals for my boyfriend, friends, and myself (while sharing choice scraps with my two-year-old pug!). I like using fresh, healthy, nutrient-rich ingredients in my cooking, and I try to avoind unnecessary fatty ingredients. I am a sucker for dark chocolate though!
