Reviewed Chocolate Milkshakes With No Ice Cream!

"Aaaamazing! I made this in my vitamix, so it took seconds to make and was sooo smooth! I have been trying ice cream free milk shake recipes in my vitamix lately and this is THE BEST I've had! The creamer must be the real key to getting it smooth like that. I did add about 1/8 tsp of xanthan gum because I find that it helps to keep the ice from sepa..."

"My mom always made this awesome chocolate pie, but since i have adopted a low carb lifestyle I tweaked this a little to make it diet friendly. Great for diabetics or just anyone trying to watch their sugar intake or gluten sensitive people. Its very yummy!

    About Me

I am a 22 year old married to a wonderful man and mother of 1. He was born June of 2007, and his name is Noah Aidan!
I LOVE this site and there are SO many helpful recipes here! I am in the process of trying to convert all of my recipes from caned/boxed stuff into made from scratch recipes. And this site is my STAPLE for doing so! Im just trying to make everything more healthy for my family and I. We eat about 95% organic food. So the problem with buying even canned organic foods, is that they still tend to contain somethings like "yeast extract" which is just another form of MSG. Also, I would like to add that I am not a doctor (alot of people see the dr_kaley and think so), but I AM currently working toward my Master Herbalist degree. I do alot with herbs and the only medicines we use, are herbal. I even make alot of my own herbal medicines.

    Favorite Foods

I love most any foods really. Im a big comfort food person, and always open to try new foods. I love food with substance! I have trouble eating a meal that doesn't contain carbs! I am a mixed metabolic type. Meaning I need protein and carbs equally. Some people are pure protein types, and some carb types.. Read "The Metabolic Typeing Diet" to find out you metabolic type... I love and only use whole wheat pastas. I eat primarily vegetarian , but I don't believe in giving up all flesh, as I know that there are some important nutrients you can only find in flesh, like certain very important B vitamins. I don't eat red meat any more, but I do still enjoy chicken and fish 1-2 times a week, but only wild caught fish and truly free range chicken from small farms around me. I'm exploring healthy eating and trying to be more conscious of what I put in and on my body! I have been slowly cutting out all refined sugars and refined food/processed foods, and white flours. So I use alot of natural sweeteners like Agave, stevia, and honey. Occasionally Rapadura.
I've also started to enjoy variety of grains, like Quinoa.I Love Italian food because its so yummy and easy, also I love to stir fry with all my leftover veggies! Throw them all in with some chicken or beef and make my own sauce from braggs liquid aminos+veg broth+honey and garlic etc and YUM!,
I'm big on simple food also! I am a throw it in the crock pot kinda gal. 1 or 2 dish meals are my thing more than a 5 course dinner :)
