"I made this for my 17mo daughter who is allergic to eggs. It was fantastic! She ate a whole big slice for breakfast. I used all whole wheat flour, decreased the butter a bit (added a little more applesauce) and left out the "optionals". It was very moist and earthy! Rivals any banana bread with eggs. :)"

"Very GOOD! I used cheerios instead of the crispy rice with EXCELLENT results (it is what I had on hand)..I will always make them this way now. Reminded me of those newer "cereal" bars. Good recipe to play around with."
