    About Me

I was born in Mosgiel,New Zealand. My mother was a local Kiwi girl from Tairei Beach NZ and my Father was from Holland giving me a nice mix in heritage. I am now living in Sydney, Australia with my partner and our little daughter who is a beautiful Dutch-Kiwi-Ghanaian mix ... she is just a wonderful little girl with personality plus.
With living in such a culturally mixed household .. zaar is being a major help in bringing new flavors into our meals. It has been great.
My life is with working full time, looking after my girl and working on a strong family. When I get the chance I love the beach, ballet, boxing, travel, family history, musicals, catching up with friends and going back to New Zealand to see family and friends...sharing it all (except the boxing - that?s just mine) with my girl and partner.

    Favorite Foods

I have too much of a sweet tooth at times and can't help my eyes wondering over all the wonderful recipes here in ZAAR but when I can pull my eyes away from all the baking and desserts
I prefer making my food with fresh ingredients or from scratch rather than cooking things out of a package. With working I do tend to cook at least one meal a week in the slow cooker just to give me a little time some evening to spend with family. I love hot and spicy foods most and with coming from NZ I love lamb ... yum !!!

I'm looking forward to all the new recipes I'm going to find surfing this site ... thanks ZAAR
