    About Me

    I live in a very small town in WV and have worked as an E.M.T. most of my life after college. I have been cooking since I was about 10--my mom and grandma were both great cooks. Cooking has always been fun for me and I am especially good at made from scratch breads. I also sew and crochet. I have a small son and numerous nephews who flock to my house to eat--I guess my house is the family gathering place.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite things to cook are yeast breads, holiday menus--everyone eats here-including whomever is on duty at the ambulance that day. I don't really have a favorite restaurant. I guess it is just a treat for me to eat someone elses cooking (no dishes for a meal) so I am really not too choosy. Those who cook a lot know what I mean--its not that your own food isn't good, but it's a treat to be "cooked for" for a change!!!! My family loves my pepperoni rolls and all my holiday stuff---anything homemade! That's the best part of cooking for me--other people's reaction.
