The dip looked very unappealing after the separation, although I was able to (more or less) stir the milk back in. Also, unless you're making enough for 20-30 people, you might want to cut the recipe in half."

    "This was really enjoyable. Could not find cardamom pods in my area, so I added some ground cardamom. This was still really good, but next time I would leave out the vanilla bean. It tasted fine, but probably almost tripled the cost of the cider. I don't think the bean was worth the added cost."
