Central Ohio
I have a degree in archaeology from a small Ohio college and I work for the Ohio Historical Society. My passions are art, music, books, food, and history. I also love photography. I have a 1,000 (plus) piece collection of vintage flower pins from the 1960's, hence the username LOL. I also have small collections of vintage butterfly pins, vintage tablecloths and vintage glass Christmas ornaments. (Can you tell I have a passion for vintage??
) I took a trip to the Netherlands in March 2006 and fell in love! If I ever have the opportunity I would love to live there.
Me 'n' my mom in Holland:
My favorite dish to make is mac & cheese. I am always trying new versions but my all-time favorite is Stove Top Macaroni and Cheese. I love to try new foods from other countries - my favorites are Middle Eastern/Mediterranean and Mexican. Some of my favorite foods are cheese, chocolate, orzo, beans, rhubarb, most fruits (I eat bananas almost every day), peanut butter (but not peanuts!), spinach & most anything spicy. I don't eat a lot of red meat but if I do, it tends to be lamb (cause I love it!) I don't have a lot of dislikes, but broccoli, cauliflower, coconut, celery, peas & water chestnuts I could live without! ;)
If I could only eat one food for the rest of my life it would be cheese. No...chocolate. No...cheese. OK..... If I could only eat two foods for the rest of my life they would be cheese and chocolate! :)
