I am a former chef and caterer, a diehard vegetarian and I teach cooking classes for 3-15 year old kids- so I am constantly searching new recipes and new ideas! Since nutrition is also a passion of mine, I try to teach a balance of healthy foods, portion sizes and a rainbow of fruits and vegetables. I love feeding people and I hate monotony, so when company comes I always ask them if there are any vegetables they don't eat. I tell them they are bound to come across something here that they don't normally eat. Thankfully, my friends are very adventurous and many have eaten and liked whatever happens upon my menu.
I love natural, simple foods. Sauces and creams rarely make there way into my cooking because I favor nutrition by nature. I would say my favorite foods are broccolini, grapes, goat cheese and homemade bread. There is nothing that smells better than homemade bread.
