Night work is my life, sadly, so I look for easy menu's, crockpot-ables that are tasty, vegan if possible. I'm a "try before I buy" kinda gal, so will use an item 2 or 3 times before I review, just to be sure I've gotten it "right". I especially like to find surprise uses for old standby veggies that most people get tired of: carrots, broccoli, spinach.
I make a mean curried port roast and I love polenta. I've taken to trying different scone and muffin recipes to serve with tea when friends come to call or I go visit; so far a buttermilk/raisin is popular. :/
