"Quite nice. This is for folks who like heat. It is hot, but not harsh. Pretty strong vinegar bite. Be sure to cook carrots long enough or the texture is grainy. I canned this is 4 oz jars and BWB, it gets mellower with age. Make the recipe like stated, without seeds, and you can almost use this as a potent salsa - but that is a true spicy fo..."

"This is very excellent. Like a good hamburger helper without all the processed food taste and without the overwhelming fat and sodium. I used half turkey and half beef and it was excellent. Definitely going to make again. Need to be careful to package in single serving casseroles. If I make a big casserole, my girls will eat like birds, and I..."

"Very nice with pork sandwiches. I added a pinch of celery seed. I should not have done that. Was better before, but still very good. WIll definitely make again. I could also almost see this as a sauce for pulled pork."

"Quite nice. Wife and kid loved it. I used Lousiana Hot Sauce instead of Tabasco. Was pretty mild. Definite addition to the permanent cookbook."

"Very nice chili that is surprising like Wendy's. The chili powder used makes a lot of difference. I used HEB bulk San Antonio chili powder. For you guys who are not in Texas, San Antonio powder is "sweeter" with less pungency. The chili is "gentle" - my family likes it milder than I do. Personally, I like butt burning chili - this is not it...."

"I think my idea of "good" mac and cheese is just different than this. This is over the top with fat and "richness" - too rich. Like eating a stick of butter. Too much creaminess in sauce, and to me, the flour base is overwhelming. Not much cheesiness, and I used Boar's Head sharp Cheddar. It reminded me of mac and cheese one gets with TV Dinn..."
