"A lovely recipe! I used crystallized ginger instead of fresh but followed the rest of the recipe, delicious!"

I am originally from Austria, live in Florida since 1977. I love cooking and entertaining and of course eating!
I enjoy watching the Foodnetwork. My favorite chef's are Giada De Laurentiis, Ina Garten, Wolfgang Puck, Mario Batali as well as Ironchef, I used to watch the original Ironchef program from Japan. Iam also a member of a cooking site in Austria and have posted many american and international dishes. Of course I have to translate everything into German, as well as convert the measurements and baking temperatures. Since I love photography, I always make a picture of my creations and save it until I have a chance to post the recipe. On the other hand, I intend to post Austrian dishes on the Zaar.
My taste in food is very ecclectic. I am definitely a "Foodie" and always look out for new trends. Living in SW Florida, we have fresh fruit and veggies growing in our backyards year round, as well as fresh fish and seafood.
