    About Me

Soups are my forté and I'm forever bugging my family & friends to save their carcasses for my next stock.

I rarely stick to any recipe unless I'm baking; it's how I fulfill my creative penchant. I love brownies and find myself making them every other week or so. To ease the guilt of eating a good number of them all by myself, I share with neighbours (who love me!) and family. I further ease the guilt of eating so many needless calories by  adding about 1/3 cup of a seed mixture I always keep in a jar in the fridge: coarsely ground sunflower seeds and finely ground flax seeds. I add this mix to a lot of baked goods, banana breads and peanut butter cookies for example. It's also tasty sprinkled on cereal and banana splits. And it's good for you tooLaughing
