Mom of 9 1/2 yr. old twin boys and partner to a Contractor, so my cooking style these days is less refined, more hearty. Everyone in our house has a great palate though, so I love to make delicious food which will be appreciated. That said I work full-time out of the house, so I have to think ahead, meal plan, shop accordingly and like to spend Sundays doing some cooking that helps get through the week. We try to eat in a healthy way--no white flour, no sugar, nothing processed. I'm also interested in gluten free cooking but not exclusively. Except for Friday's pizza night (take out) we cook all our own food and the kids are very fit and healthy because of it.
My favorite foods really have only to do with what's fresh and good. If it's in season, I adore it. There are only a few things I don't like, and even those, I'm willing to give a try if shown a new way to cook them. Like many people who cook for a living, I'm often satisfied with take out pizza or Kraft Dinner (Mac & Cheese) as long as someone else is cooking it.
