    "Another icon staple back in the day here in St. Louis... Sara Lou's was a restaurant on St. Louis Avenue and Vandeventer... they had the best Shrimp outside of HyWil's / Lewis Snack Shop on Elliot St in old downtown STL... anyway Sara Lou's shrimp was a top guarded recipe and no one could figure quite how they did it... it was sort of flaky as I re..."

    "Years ago, Famous Barr here in St. Louis had this delicious cake... it was yellow cake soaked with rum I believe and it had whipped cream mocha icing with slivered almonds on the side...
