"My husband hates beans and when I found this recipe I thought I'd take a chance -- I'm really glad that I did! I did have to substitute turkey pepperoni and turkey Italian sausage for the chorizo because we don't eat pork but this is an excellent recipe and great flavor! Awesome over hotdogs and freezes well."

"We had this for dinner last night -- I served it to company. We omitted the pine nuts because none of us like them and i used Whole Wheat Rotini because I don't like Penne. We did not have the same pasta issues others wrote about because we used a pasta with a different texture that still holds the sauce. I had to substitute another seasoning f ..."

"We all really enjoyed this recipe. I did make some additions to the recipe to make the salad a little heartier. I doubled the recipe and added cucumber and garlic and herb feta to the salad -- definitely will be making this again."

"This was incredibly tasty with minimal ingredients. I did substitute vidalia onion for the red onion, used salad dressing instead of mayo, jarred minced garlic instead of fresh and lemon juice instead of lime but it all still worked out very nicely and as mommycook said, its also very good cold."

"I didn't have access to the chinese noodles so I used whole wheat spaghetti, and instead of cutting up carrots and cabbage I bought a 1lb. bag of coleslaw mix. I also used chicken cut into thin strips. I cooked the chicken in the oil before I cooked everything else because I'm leary of raw meat and then took it out of the pan and did the veggies..."

"I made this for my parents when they came to visit and my dad, an onion soup afficianado said, "It wasn't bad." (high praise I made one change out of necessity -- I substituted vegetable broth for chicken broth and I left out most of the salt. I did double batch but it wasn't enough for everyone. Next time I make this for more than two people ..."

"I took this recipe as a starting point, I was really looking for a scallop recipe that used bacon and BBQ sauce and this one looked like a good place to start. I purchased 2 lbs of scallops and bought 2 lbs. of maple hickory bacon. I ended up using only one of the packs of bacon because I found that half a slice was enough for each scallop. It ..."

"I found this recipe on the back of the 57 Sauce bottle and just made it up tonight. Its flavorful and EASY and unlike other marinades I've come across, it DOES NOT have added garlic in it which right now is a HUGE plus (pregnant and the baby doesn't like garlic. Great recipe! Thanks!"
