    About Me

    I've never enjoyed or excelled at cooking, but after eating freezer food and pizza for a couple of years I decided it was time to make a real effort. Receipezaar has already been a tremendous help, and I am now excited to try new recipes! I'm mostly vegetarian, though my love for salmon just won't go away, and the filters on this site make it much more useful than any of the cookbooks I've tried. Otherwise, I love all kinds of music, work at a bank, sleep whenever possible and read a fair bit. I also recently adopted two adorable kitties, who unfortunately are not allowed to try Mommy's cooking.

    Favorite Foods

    I have too many favorites to list, but the 'zaar recipes I've most enjoyed thus far include: oatmeal carmelitas (#78549); orzo, grape and pistachio salad (#97468); strawberry rhubarb pie (#125515); sorbet de fraises et de framboises (#14172); and awesome white cheese & chocolate enchiladas (#81711).

    I also love curries, especially Thai, pasta or rice dishes that are heavy on the vegetables, pizza (of course), guacamole and huge veggie burritos, and all kinds of other delicious foods.
