"I am not sure mine browned the way it "should have" but it tasted great. All 4 kids liked it, and that says a lot. So I am making it again today, I think I am going to bake it at a bit higher temp and maybe finish it off in a sautee pan to brown it...but we'll see. Everyone liked it the way it was so why mess with success?"
"Very yummy. I had to omit the cilantro and onions b/c I didn't have any on hand...I substituted fresh basil for cilantro...not comparable I know but It was still a nice fresh flavor. I also didn't have very long to let it all blend in the fridge, but it was delish anyways. Thanks for sharing."
"I had a few left over salmon fillets and this recipe fit the ing. I had on hand..and turned them into a meal for my fam of 6. Everyone liked them...EVEN the little 2 and that is the true test. Will definitely be a keeper. thank you for sharing"
"Everybody liked them (which says a lot!) even the meat eating husband! I only had about 1 Cup of bread crumbs so that is what I used and it still came together really well, I will probably only use that much from now on. I formed patties with my hands (a sticky venture but definitely no worse than shaping hamburger!) And I got probably 12 patties..."
"Very good. I haven't tried defrosting the extra loaves yet, but I am sure that will work out fine. I was a bit dubious before I started kneading it...it looked..to...shiny, or wet or something. But one I started kneading in some extra flour it started behaving like a very nice bread dough. Thanks for sharing."
"This was very good. The asparagus haters in my house didn't care for it, but what do they know. My only thing was that the sauce mixture was too thick to "pour" I used campbells cream of mushroom instead of cream of chicken...everything else was exact. But I did end up adding a bit of water to the dish after it started cooking because it was so..."
"I have meade this twice. the first time i : used 1 c white CM & 1C coarse. Substituted 1portion of the milk with powered milk and water, and added 1 Tbl Honey. No bacon fat, so I used Crisco. I was in a hurry and didn't read the directions through carefully...So I poured the batter into the Hot oil. This was yummy, almost like a polenta...pudding..."
"i don't know boston market, but when I was a kid (in NY) my family would pay to have our relatives in Colorado ship us a case of Marie Calanders cornbread mix. This is the closest i have found! I made it once with white cornmeal per the directions and um yummy it waslike cake. Today I made it with ground organic corn meal, alittle less than a c..."
"I used this as a springboard... Tripled it, used some different types of canned tomatoes (crushed, diced, and stewed) Honey instead of suger...I didn;t triple the salt, and it is probably b/c of the stewed tomatoes but it is very salty! Still though this is the beginning of a beautiful thing...thank you so much for sharing."
