I recently moved to NYC for a research job, and I am loving it. Because I work long hours in the lab and have a young daughter, I like quick and nutrious meals. As a result, we eat eggs a lot and try to use my crockpot to have ready made meals. I enjoy baking, but don't usually have enough time to bake more than a couple times a year.
I love baked pasta dishes, pie, pizza, potatoes (cooked almost any way), and beef roasts (especially the leftover hot beef sandwiches). I don't yet have a favorite restaurant in NYC.
