"I realized a bit late that I don't think the recipe calls for thawing the blueberries. I was worried they'd turn my muffins purple and wasn't sure about mixing them with the dry ingredients once I'd thawed them so instead, I drained the berry juice and tossed the berries in a few tbsp of the dry mix, and then added them to the ..."

"Excellent, but next time I think I'd go a little easier on the parmesan, it turned out a bit salty even for us!"

"I added some garlic and herbs into the butter before adding the cream cheese and milk, and also thinned the sauce down quite a bit (probably closer to 1 1/4 cups of milk. It was delicious though, super fast and easy to put together and tasted more like an authentic alfredo sauce than I expected. Will definitely make again."

"Easy, fast, and tasty. I added a bit of hot sauce and doubled the cheese. Mixed most of the cheese right in and then baked into a casserole with more cheese on top... mmm, cheese!"

"Next time I might use a little less sugar - I found it a bit too sweet - but otherwise, impossible to complain. I made this on the stove and it was easy. I don't think I'll be buying custard powder again!"

"I was a bit skeptical when I realized how much oil is in this, and again when I started mixing it and saw how thick the batter is - more like wet cookie dough than batter - but I'm glad I kept going, it's excellant! I think next time I'll follow the other reviewers suggestions and reduce/omit the oil for applesauce, and I might cut back the sugar ..."

"I doubled this but otherwise made exactly as directed and was happy with the end result. I did run into a little trouble with the recipe though... The mixture to pour over the fruit was so thick my mixer wouldn't stir it - not sure if it's supposed to be that way? I definitely couldn't "pour" it, so I just kind of globbed it over the pears and bak..."
