"Wonderful! I doubled the recipe and used 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1 cup of milk. I divided the dough in 3 pieces, and rolled each piece out onto a greased cookie sheet, then cut to desired size and pricked with a fork. Also, I used softened butter in place of the shortening.
