"from the cookbook "Vegetarian: the best ever recipe collection" by Linda Fraser. This recipe is fantastic!!! It has been a fav of mine for a number of years. I made it for dinner tonight and meat-eater hubby said it tasted just like regular meatloaf. picky eater son said "YUM!" and gobbled it up."

"This makes a delicious soup! I cooked my own pumpkin rather than using canned, and I used half and half in place of the whole cream. I think this soup is great this way, but could also be great with coconut milk and some thai style curry paste."

I am a professional church musician. I am also a wife and mother. Cooking is my favorite hobby and I always come to food.com first when I'm looking for a new recipe! Indian is my favorite type of cuisine but my cooking is very eclectic (although I am a vegetarian so, no meat on my menu!). I love potluck meals - I think it is a great place to try out a new recipe! After all, if the recipe tanks, you can always deny ownership of the dish! LOL

"I made this salad specifically to use some of the wonderful beets I pickled in cumin, coriander, and clove. It was a hit at my family Christmas party, and I hope it will be a hit in your home, too!"
