    About Me

    I grew up in a small town in New England. I watched as my Mom cooked everyday for seven people. Also, my grandmother when she cooked Thanksgiving and Christmas for 40. I love the modern simpler ways, but there is something about learning from scratch. Most of us wouldn't know how if we had to. So now I pay close attention to my mother-in-law, she still has that knowledge. I hope to be as adept and as skillful someday.

    Favorite Foods

    My favorite meal to cook is, chicken stew with dumplings. I love to make won ton soup. Though I need to learn to make my own dough, the market stuff ruins it I think. I would like to learn the art of bread making. People have commented on my deviled eggs, soups and stews, sheperds pie, and pizza.
