I am a novice and I am on a quest to learn how to cook and bake. Family Dinner Time is very important to me. After working the swing shift (and thus missing dinner at home) for 6 years, I am now on a day shift and I am thrilled to be cooking dinner! To my suprise, cooking is a stress reliever for me! I open my blinds so I can see "my mountain", put on my cute apron, and listen to my 40's music....I am in the zone...this is a new form of zen for me. I love it!
I love all kinds of food....I've loved Italian since I was a child, Mexican food is what I grew up on and it is a comfort food, Southern food was what my grandma made and I love it, Sushi is awesome and makes me feel clean inside, but, my current favorite is Indian food! I've never had an Indian dish I didn't like! We have wonderful family friends who are from India but lived near us when I was a child. They are now back in India, but they planted a seed of love for India, and their vast cultures, that has grown in my heart!
