    Reviewed Pot Roast

    "What a delight.

I was looking for a recipe with a traditional pot roast feel, so I was hesitant to use one that called for a cream soup. However, this recipe met my expectations and then some. The soup ended up being less of a base than I had thought it would; the natural juices of the beef were really in the forefront.

I added a lot of sliced baby bella mushrooms atop the onions, and I don't cook with wine so I just used extra water, but otherwise I followed the recipe.

A real hit with the husband and children.

    Reviewed Pan Fried Pork Chops

"Keeping pork chops moist during pain cooking can be a challenge. This recipe did just that. It was easy to follow and the ingredients should be readily available in most cook's kitchen. It is also easily adaptable to a variety of tastes by using different spices and "extras" (mushrooms come to mind).

My husband has a strong dislike for pan cooked pork chops, yet he actually requested these again for dinner tonight.

    Delicious.
