"I have had Shrimp Butter and love it. Its mild and oh so yummy on crostini or crackers. However I didn't like this recipe at all!! We had to throw it out! I followed the recipe to the letter, but thought the Sherry was overwelming. The texture was odd too. I will keep searching for the perfect Shrimp Butter."

"Followed the recipe to the letter.... ...I thought the flavor was very good, but the texture was a bit grainy. I think a little corn syrup (1 or 2 T would correct the graininess. They set up very rapidly so spoon them out quickly. I'll try again with the adjustment. My husband thought they were fabulous!!!"

"It's nothing like the canned stuff (thank goodness!. I really liked the recipe, but thought there was too much sugar (even after reducing it. The fresh corn is already sweet! Next time I'll try 1/2 the sugar and milk inplace of the half and half. Otherwise this would have been 5 Stars!."
