"They were shiny, looked good. Bit of a crunch but soft on the inside just like you would want. The taste was good but toll house cookies also taste good. Not sure if I will make this recipe again. Worth making once."

    Reviewed Strawberry Shortcake
     |  By kinflightinoh

"Very good. Makes a ton! Use a big see through dish. Cut off the brown edge so only white shows through the glass dish. Really is very sweet, take a look at the ingrediants. Definately double the strawberry mixture or it will be too skimpy. Or just double the strawberries only. The custard makes plenty, maybe too much, just the way it is written."

"Made as written. Great consistency. Smooth, creamy, and thick. Really needs a lot more chocolate flavor...a lot more. Maybe chocolate topping would help with chocolate curls."
