     |  By Missy Wombat

"Really yummy, hearty, filling, and flavourful! This was my first recipe using tempeh, and I loved it. I don't know why some people say tempeh isn't good, cause this was just like a regular stew but vegan/vegetarian. Even my picky fiancee loved it!"

"This is so easy and adaptable! I used 3 cups of all-purpose whole wheat flour, three cups of stone-ground whole white flour (it's a little denser than regular white flour, half a cup of rolled oats, and half a cup of ground flaxseed, as well as quick-rise yeast (because it's what I had. I let it sit out in the container overnight, then put it in..."

"I halved this recipe since I was just making something for a craving for chocolate. The cookies were quite good, but also quite soft. I used twice the cocoa (1/2 cup for the half recipe so it was extra choclatey, and forgot to add the vanilla, but it seemed like more oats would have held it together better. I think I would use 2 cups of oats and ..."

"This is so yummy! I used 1 1/2 cups stone-ground whole white flour, 1 cup stone-groun whole wheat flour, and 1/2 cup ground flax seed, and added 1/2 a small-ish sweet onion, chopped, with a bottle of Rolling Rock and a little extra water, less than a 1/4 cup (it wasn't coming together. I baked it at 350 for an hour and it was awesome! A moist ban..."

"A great, easy cake. My batter was thicker than most cake mixes, not thin like the description, but came out great. A little on the sweet side for my tastes, so I cut the sugar back to 1 1/2 cups, and used 3/4 cup of water. It took 30 min. in a 9x13x2" pan lined with tinfoil for easy removal. I made four of them and iced them together for a huge do..."

"I cooked this recipe over an open fire for 50 people, in a 20L pot at a camp party recently. It was such a hit! I used the serving converter but had slightly too small a pot for all the ingredients for 50 servings. My recipe went more like this: 1/3 cup flour 4 1/4 teaspoons salt 2 1/8 teaspoons pepper 8 lbs stew meat, cut into 1 inch pieces (I us..."
