    About Me

First of all I'm a southern girl with a city twist. I love to cook & try new foods of all kinds. I was born in Texas, lived in Ohio from age 1-7 and have been raised & put my own roots down here in Mississippi since then. I love my crock pot, it's my best friend, as I have a family of 5. My children aren't very picky eaters but they ARE kids. I love to find new recipes and try them out. I have a knack for mixing things up & adding to plus taking away. Not to pull my own strings but I've never failed a recipe. It's in my DNA (I guess). Nobody ever really taught me how to cook, I've always had a passion for cooking though and have been doing so since I was around 12. I'm 34 now. I have a few 'signature' dishes that people swoon over & I'm not afraid to share any of my 'secrets'. With that being said, let's get to cookin'!

    Favorite Foods

I pretty much love ALL food :)

Italian & Mexican top the list.

Breakfast for supper is one of my favorites.

Depending on the time of year is how we choose our meals.

    ie: summer=grilling & salads

winter=   slow cooker meals & soups

I live in Ms. so we really only have 2 seasons. haha

SUMMER & a sort of chilly WINTER.
