"Made as written, adding 1 dried Chipotle pepper & put all in the blender before simmering. We thought this was delicious. As we don't use a lot of Chili Sauce, but need it on hand for recipes that do, I halved the recipe, simmered until it seemed the right consistency, & have 3 pints canned. Most Chili Sauces I've purchased are a slightly sweet..."

"This is just what I needed for my egg rolls. I know the hoisin sauce I've purchased is a little darker, but I'm thinking black beans & molasses instead of the honey & peanut butter would take care of that.
