I am 43 years old and have loved to cook ever since I was old enough to ***** the spoon. I am one of those cooks who add a little of this and a pinch of that. I don't know exactly how much of this or that I use and I taste quite alot.
I am a registered nurse that works twelve hour night shifts at our local area hospital. I have been in nursing for over ten years. I have been told that those are the two things that I do good is nurse and cook, lol.
One of my pet peeves is that when I am in the kitchen I don't want anyone else in there with me. I feel that is my time to create my own masterpieces. I don't mind anyone helping washing dishes though, lol.
Ooh that's a hard question. I have too many favorite foods. I would have to say a specialty would be cajun. Everyone in my house loves rice and beans. I am not a fancy cook, but a truly southern soul food cook. I don't consider myself a "chef" but simply a "cook". Nothing you get at my house is gonna be fancy, but I can assure you I don't mind you getting a fork and dipping in the pot.
My favorite restaurant would have to be any restaurant with mexican food. Tacos, beans and rice to me is the perfect meal.
