"I see this exact recipe two other times, but kept thinking I;m not sure of the mixture of spices......After the third time of viewing the recipe (YOURS!), I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. I was so easy to throw together with ingredients I already hand on hand, so no revisions were necessary. This end results was a mix of swee..."

Reviewed Chili Colorado
"I hate to rate this so low, but I followed your directions exactly and the end results was just very bland. All of the ingredients seemed like it would make a great chili, so I'm not sure what I can add to make it more flavorful. Sorry."

I have been using Zaar for several years, and have recommened the site to practically anyone that will listen to me!
I hardly ever use my cookbooks anymore because of this wonderful site! I work full time for a software company, am married, and have three son's all of which keeps me very busy! I have always loved to cook (in college one of my roommates wanted to hire me to be her cook, when I had to quit for a semester!
) I used to subscribe to Bon Appetit magazine, and would love to try their recipes, but over the years as I have gotten more busy I don't have time for time consuming and complicated recipes, so I have become the queen of quick and simple cooking. I also use my crockpot quite a bit. Anything to save me time in the kitchen!
Chocolate, Chocolate and more Chocolate!! I also love Italian food. If given a choice when going out to eat for a special meal, I always choose Italian! My favorite foods as a kid were my mother's corn chowder, beef stew and spaghetti sauce. The only recipe of her's that I have posted is her corn chowder, because seems to be an over abundance of stew and spagehtti sauce recipes, and I tend to "throw" ingrediants together rather than measure when I cook. So, I'm not sure I could give exact measurements to give her dishes justice!
