    About Me

    Let's see...  I have a tortoise so I always have plenty of dark, leafy greens to eat.  I have food allergies... gluten, dairy, and sesame... which force me to be creative in the kitchen and keeps me away from most processed foods.  

    I never really liked cooking but now I see it as a chance to experiment (and I always liked science because of the experiments lol).  The more I eat homemade food the worse anything else tastes!  Sometimes I'll eat some of the soup at my work and I can't help myself... this needs pepper, way less salt, and I would add some celery and....

    Other random facts:  I eat spiced pumpkin for breakfast (and therefore have great night vision ha), love my Jolly Time popcorn cooked in canola oil (the right oil makes all the difference!), take forever to eat anything, and have 3 cats and a pug dog named Bubbles.  Roomba (the tortoise) and Bubbles do their parts to keep me healthy... good foods and exercise!  I also have a sweet tooth that I am fighting to control.
