    New Topic pasta for a crock pot soup in Slow Cooker & Crock-Pot Cooking

    "Hi everyone!

    I have a chicken and veggie soup in the crock pot now.. I want to add noodles. In the past, I have had pasta expand and absorb all the broth. What do you think?

    "YUM! I have been experimenting with making my own margs, trying to steer clear of the sugary mixes. I used Fresca (0 sugars) in place of 7Up, and Margaritaville tequila with lime! I don't have to look any further, this is the best recipe ever. Would even be good with some fresh fruit mixed in.... thinking raspberries? Happy Summer and thanks ..."

    Hi, I'm Lori. I'm a 38 year old Mom, Wife and non-cooker. My cooking has never been a hit with my husband, and my son lives on mac'n'cheese and chicken nuggets. I sustained a brain injury from a fall and cannot work. Before that, my husband did most of the cooking. Since I can't work I and have taken over cooking, I thought I would try to improve - for all our sakes! I think this site will be great because there are lots of healthy, easy recipes. I adore the fact that I can just send all the info to my Blackberry - great for my memory issues!
