"Thanks for this recipe! I made this tonight and the rice came out really nice. My youngest said it tasted as good as white rice (which we are trying to now avoid. I did have to cook it longer than stated. Next time I will substitute chicken or beef broth for all or part of the water."

"I made this tonight and it was very good. I used low sodium soy sauce, omitted the sherry, and substituted sugar twin brown sugar. I also used chicken breast rather than drumsticks and marinated them about four hours. My sons really liked this and it will become a regular around here."
