    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

Discovered a love of cooking and baking in myself over the past two years, and I'm finding my way through following and inventing recipes.

I'm a vegetarian, (lacto-ovo), but I read all kinds of recipes and blogs for inspiration. Inspired by Susan V of Fat Free Vegan, I just started working with gluten dough to create seitan and I'm hooked!

    Favorite Foods

I can't decide what my favorite individual food is, but I have a deep love of Indian cuisine, followed by Spanish, and then Italian. My favorite restaurant is probably Alice's Tea Cup right now, located around 64th and Lexington in Manhattan-- it's kitschy and adorable, AND they make to-die-for scones.

I guess I'm most famous for baking all kinds of sweets and confections, though I really prefer cooking main and side dishes. My co-workers look forward to my sweet maple baked butternut squash every fall.
