    About Me

I've started taking interest in cooking in the last couple of years. I'm addicted to all the food shows and venture into reproducing dishes that I see, sometimes successfully and sometimes not! Basically I love the idea of entertaining and cooking for my husband, who really enjoys my cooking which is very encouraging to me.

    Favorite Foods

The food I would like to cook is the one that my dear late mother would prepare for the huge parties, diners and National day functions that my parents would have. We lived abroad all our lives and the Pakistani food that was cooked was very aromatic and very festive. The cuisine had to represent the culture in the most flattering way. My mother probably didn't have the time to leave me a 'family cookbook', so I'm always looking for the things that I saw being prepared at home and make my own little recipes.
I always remember the delicious aromas permeating in the house , a reminder of the great food that I was going to eat!! I want my house to smell like that!!!
