New Topic need on the go recipe ideas...please! in Low Fat Cooking
"Hi, I am putting my husband on a lose weight diet. One thing I need to do, is to make sure he has a good high protein meal in the morning. He never has time to get up and make a breakfast, so I need something that would be more grab and go kind of thing. I do not want all sweet things like muffins. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks so much!!"

I love to cook. I also love to garden, both vegetables and flowers are my passion. I enjoy the great out doors, also, looking for new and interesting recipes to make for my family. Baking in the cooler fall and winter months fills the home with such wonderful aromas, plus living in the Great Lakes State, sometimes you do not see the sun for weeks. So filling the home with inviting aromas with fresh baked breads, cakes, cookies or hearty stews and soups is a must to lift the spirits! Canning is another one of my passions. I love the taste of "Good " home canned produce, expecially when it comes out of my garden! The produce truly is a gift From God, and I am very thankful for it!
My Summer gardens!

Cookies, desserts, whole grain breads are the fun things I enjoy baking. Also, I Love to preserve the fruits of my labor, so canning is a big part of my, "things I love to do list". I really try to make meals that are healthy for my family. So, I'm always on the look out for interesting recipes that taste great! But I do indulge often in the rich and heavenly recipes too!
