"I also love cukes this way, however I add a tiny bit of sugar to offset the acidity of the vinegar. Kind of a sweet and sour thing."

"DELISH!! I promised to make my mom birthday dinner, and decided on chinese. My son requested bourbon chicken as one of the dishes and this is the one I chose to try. Fantastic! I didn't have cider vinegar, so subbed red wine vinegar in it's place with great results. I made it with 8 chicken breasts, so doubled the recipe. Thanks for posting ..."

"This is the way my Uncle Colin Dyson (r.i.p. taught me to make a "proper tea" I've always used fresh cold water, and warmed my pot. I too wish that restaraunts would learn to boil their water!"

"This was so yummy! The kids made it for dessert, and it was simple for my 11 and 9 year olds to make, and so delish! Thanks, we'll be making this one a lot!"

"I gave this a try, since it looked and sounded so yummy. It lived up to it's reputation! I thoroughly enjoyed sharing it at a birthday celebration with friends. Everyone who tried it thought it was delicious! I loved it with 1/2 gingerale and 1/2 club soda, but it was wonderful on it's own as well. Thanks for posting, I'll be making this one ..."

"I have made this a few times now, and it's great! So good with vanilla ice cream! I have had my 10 year old make it, and my 8 year old help. They feel so proud being responsible for dessert, and this is a good one to try. Supervision needed with the boiling water, but great for learning measurements and directions. We have "sauce and cake" p..."

"This was so yummy! My kids liked it too, and that's a feat! What a great alternative to the everyday, boring rice side dish! Thanks MizzNezz, I'll use this again and again."

"I use this very same recipe from Taste of Home! So yummy, and easy to make. I often don't have thyme, and have added a tablespoon of onion soup mix. My recipe adds 2 cups of water as well to make more Au Jus. We like to make our buns toasted and garlicky to add another special taste. Thanks for reminding me that I need to make this soon!"

"I have been making this every year for the past 4-5 years and it's always a hit with the kids! Haven't used the bunny for dip for awhile though, everyone likes him whole, but he's really nice with veggies all around and dip in the tummy. I use my own recipe for quick buns instead of frozen dough, but otherwise same recipe from Quick Cooking. Th..."
