    About Me

There are many things I enjoy.  In no particular order I like reading, family time, gardening, travel, animals, sewing, crochet, pinterest, crafting in general, games, antiques and so much more.  The one thing that I really, really like is.......cooking.  Whether it's a simple dish or something more complex, it eventually makes its way to my family's table.  I am fortunate to have a family that enjoys all my experiments too.

Since my son has inherited my love of cooking, I feel it is time to list all the recipes we enjoy.  I get a warm, fuzzy feeling that one day he will prepare some of these same dishes for his family.

I do not have any formal training in the culinary arts.  I also do not claim these are the most wonderful recipes ever created, it's what MY family enjoys.

You will find the recipes I post are from my family members, neighbors, co-workers, friends, old cookbooks, websites or package labels.  I consider all recipes a base, a guideline, a place to start.  We are all individuals with different likes and dislikes or dietary needs.  When possible, please keep an open mind and try the recipe as posted and then tweak it to your liking.

    Enjoy and Happy Cooking!
