Reviewed Peanut Butter Cup Cookies (Tarts)

"This is a definite 10 star cookie for me! I did it exactly like it said and they turned out great. I added reeses pieces on the top and they looked professional! I also use the dough for plain ol' peanut butter cookies. The cookies turned out great and stayed soft for days (not that they were around for very long)."

    Reviewed Chicken Cordon Bleu Casserole

"Bravo! My family was skeptical of the dish (as always when I try new recipes) but upon first bite, compliments were all I heard between bites. I added a little bacon (we live in Portland...we like bacon) and sprinkled some blue cheese crumbles on top. I dropped a star rating because this recipe does not warn in it how salty it is. I would definitel..."

    Reviewed Traditional Lasagna

"This recipe is definitely excellent! I love the pasta sauce! I might use it in other recipes. The only thing I changed was I added onions. Mmmmmm!"

Reviewed Olive Garden Style Chicken and Gnocchi Soup

"I liked this recipe but I would NOT put in sour cream. It totally dominated the broth. Also, it was missing something...mushrooms? Potatoes? Something...other than that, I would make it again!"

    Reviewed Steak Burgundy With Pasta

"I was disappointed because I thought this was going to be an unusual recipe that would wow my family...and it was exactly like my dad's recipe for stroganoff, minus the sour cream and chives. In fact, when my boyfriend came home from the late shift and ate the leftovers, he told me the next morning, "stroganoff was good as usual. Thanks babe!" So, ..."

    Reviewed Sirloin Steak Casserole

"So so so good! I served it with chunky garlic mashed potatoes and it was perfect. Only thing I would do differently is cook the meat longer, like four hours, so it is very tender. I would definitely recommend!"

Reviewed The Best Chicken Tortilla Soup

"This is the perfect tortilla soup! I cubed the chicken into bite sized pieces, seasoned it before cooking, and sautéed it. I also added a can of corn with everything in the beginning and added green onions in with the chicken. Since the tortillas cook into the soup, I garnished with crumbled tortilla chips along with the avacados, sour cream, and c..."

    About Me

I was a young professional working in the government and towards a bachelors degree. Since I had my daughter, I am staying home until her first birthday. I now have time to cook dinner every night which has been very relaxing and fun. I look forward to cooking dinner all day and love to feed other people my creations. I have used this website so much through google searches for recipes I finally decided to join and put in my two cents (and maybe add a few recipes of my own).

    Favorite Foods

My favorite foods to cook are the real hardy foods such as shepards pie or chicken fried steak. My "special" dish is Rachel Ray's recipe for Beef Bergundy Shepard's Pie with my own little twists. My favorite restaurant is the Melting Pot because it is good quality food that leaves you full for days!
