    About Me

I'm a kosher food hipster. I go to college for computer science (programming) and fine art. Cooking and baking are creative outlets for me and a great way to relax, take pleasure in this world, and give to other people.

Being a food hipster (foodster? foodie?) I often like weird combination of food that still work well. Always looking for something interesting and different out there and I am never let down. Challenges in food are half the fun.

I love a lot of the traditions handed down to me through my Jewish heritage. I take special interest in the many interesting traditions steeped in bread making.

Sometimes i try to convert recipes to vegan/vegetarian or other dietary restrictions/allergies so that people don't feel left out at an event. Those times are when i feel most triumphant.

I wrote an essay once to get into college about a huge tragedy i once had in baking a cake when i was younger. It was an excellent essay but completely false. every cook has many failures though, certainly more than can fit in 1000 characters.

    Favorite Foods

I love baking bread and making cakes.
