Howdy, there! I'm a full-time foodie from the Mighty Midwest and a lover of all things food (with a slight bias towards cupcakes-they are SO sweet! get it?). I'm in to locally grown, raised, harvested, and sustainable food. I grew up on a commercial beef farm specializing in Black Angus cattle with a "pasture to plate" mentality and have shown livestock my whole life. So, I know a thing or two about meat. Wait..that came out wrong... :D
I have a small garden right now and love it! It's so satisfying to see things that YOU planted and nurtured grow and produce. I love entering food competitions and seeing other people fall in love with the food I make is..awesome. I'm hoping to post all of my favorite things to make and eat on here and hopefully learn from some like-minded people.
