"This was my first time making any fondant. I was a little scared when I dumped out the mixture onto my counter, it looked like a giant mess that was never going to conform into much. But sure enough, as I kneaded, it began to transform! Pretty easy to work with. And a bit messy, but worth it, as it tastes WAY better than bitter store bought fondan..."

"I used this recipe for a small rib roast I bought. It was my first roast ever made! I used minced garlic and stuck it into about 7 different holes in the roast. I did not have a shallow roasting pan, so used a regular one. Also did not have a rack to place the roast up on. I added about 1/4 inch of water to the pan. I cooked the roast at 450 f..."

"I only used this recipe for the au jus portion. I made a rib roast and needed some dipping sauce. This au jus was delish! It had a fantastic herbed flavor that was enhanced with the richeness of the red wine. I would make this dip again for sure. Complimented a lovely roast."

"easy and great! I used balsamic vinegar since I didn't have any apple cider vinegar on hand. Tastes a bit more tart, and makes the salad a light brown. But still tastes wonderful. And its just for my family, so its ok if its not a crisp white salad!"

I added cream and gorgonzola cheese to the left over 'sauce' and made gnocchi with this dish. Served the sauce over the gnocchi and chicken and my parents and boyfriend LOVED..."
