"Thank you for posting this recipe. I made it last week out of the cookbook, but it is great to have it online! This was a great meal. The "chili" title is a little misleading; it's not at all like a traditional chili, more of a spicy chicken stew. It is, however, incredibly tasty and very filling. My (non-dieting husband absolutely loved it."

"So simple, so delicious. My hubs said "I'd rather have this than mayo." This is a HUGE statement."

"Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for posting this recipe. My husband and I spent our anniversary in St. Louis last year and had dinner at Bar Italia. We both had the agro dolce and have been talking about it ever since. This recipe is amazing-just like the restaurant. I had to make two substitutions- dried mint for fresh and dried apricots for ..."

"This is the best and easiest pot roast ever. We served it on toasted hoagie rolls with provelone. It is even better the next day. I'm not crazy about how it smells when it is cooking (kinda like warmed sauerkraut, but the taste is mmmmmmmmm."

"These are absolutely delicious. I can't wait to try the technique with other kinds of cake mix. I made a mistake and only used half a cup of water, but it didn't seem to hurt anything. I can't wait to make them again!"

"I just tried this tonight, and the flavor is amazing. I mean YUMMY. The DH did'nt even complain about the FF sour cream (nearly miraculous. This soup really doesn't taste low fat at all. As the other reviewer mentioned, this is a fairly soupy chili, but that could easily be adjusted to suit your tastes. Yum Yum Yum."

"This was a very easy meal, and it smelled amazing. The chicken just wasn't incredibly flavorful. I followed the recipe exactly (including the optional carrots, and I could not taste the herbs or the lemon. This was a good meal, and it is very easy to throw it together in the evening, refrigerate it, and let it cook all day. I will make it agai..."

"I live in Kansas City, where the heat index has been well over 100 degrees for a week, and it is NOT a dry heat. This stuff is a perfect antidote. It starts off with the lemon flavor, and then finishes with the cucumber. I've already gotten my mom hooked on this, and my DH chose this over bourbon. We keep a pitcher in the fridge and top it off..."

"I LOVED this soup. I'm made it as written, although I did add a handfull of dried shitake mushrooms, because I had them on hand. Next time, and, oh yes, there WILL be a next time, I will cut down on the tofu (there's a LOT of tofu. I'll probably also add some thinly sliced bamboo shoots. Thanks for posting. This is definitely a keeper!"
