"These are easy to make and have a delicate taste that isn't boring and isn't too sweet. Sometimes I opt not to do the powdered sugar. Still good.
The dough almost always comes out too dry for me after adding all of the flour to be able to roll them out without them crumbling. Kneading in a couple of tablespoons of water or milk very gr..."

"Great recipe for those who like soft, fluffy cookies. The dough was a little dry for me so I had to add about a tbsp of water towards the very end of mixing. I sifted my flour. I didn't have molasses so I substituted in some maple syrup. Very light with lovely taste. These will definitely be in my holiday cookie assortment."

"Aptly named cookie! I made these in preparation for a Fall beer tasting party. The recipe doesn't say what type or size potato to use, or how to cut the carrots, so I used a medium yellow potato and cut the carrots into large chunks. Also, I wish the recipe mentioned what temperature to boil them in. Medium-high did the ..."

"Like other reviewers, I too halved the recipe, and had excellent results going the garlic butter route. I did accidentally add 1/4 cup too much oil (forgot to halve that part and it still turned out fine. I used about 50-60% white flour and for the rest I used whole wheat. It tasted great, though I'd consider adding just a pinch more salt the ..."

"Very nice cake. I had to toss the frosting though. Everything was going fine until suddenly the cream was starting to separate into a cottage cheese type of substance rather than continue to stiffen. I believe I followed the instructions as written (I'm kind of OCD in the kitchen... and only in the kitchen, but perhaps I'm wrong. It was my fi..."

"Great recipe! It's quick, easy, and delicious. Super fluffy. I like adding a few drops of vanilla extract to the mix. I'll be using this recipe from now on."
